Teaching Experiences

This course provides an introduction to the study of society, exploring how individuals' lives, identities, values, beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors are shaped by their societies and social positions. Topics covered include sociological theory, race and gender, life span development, inequality and stratification, crime and punishment, organizations, and globalization.

This course provides a basic introduction to the application and interpretation of statistical analysis in the social sciences. The aim of the course and its learning objective is for students to understand the basic concepts of statistics and probability, comprehend the mathematical methods needed to analyze statistical arguments, and recognize the importance of statistical ideas. 

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and experiences with undergraduate and graduate students who are passionate about population and health studies and eager to enhance their quantitative or coding skills in SAS, STATA, R, and Python. I am genuinely delighted to invest my time and effort in fostering their growth, offering valuable mentorship opportunities and resources to facilitate their learning journey.
